5 Famous Couples with Distance Woes

Long-distance relationships may suck the life out of us sometimes, but that doesn't mean the rich and famous don't suffer the same because of it. Here are five famous couples in long-distance relationships.

1. David Beckham and Victoria Beckham: The soccer player and wife held it together when he moved to LA to play for the LA galaxy in 2007, the famous couple decided to split their time between LA and London, with Victoria spending most of her time in London. She was quoted as saying her long-distance relationship was part of the reason “why we’re not bored with each other after 11 years.”

2. Ashely Graham and Justin Ervin: The plus size model has been very busy - so busy, in fact, that she and her cinematographer husband live 3,000 miles away from each other. She spends most of her time in the fashion capital of the world, NYC, while her husband spends his time in Los Angeles. "We have a rule. We don't go longer than two weeks without seeing each other," she told Entertainment Tonight . "It's absolutely fabulous. I love it. We just meet in L.A. or New York. We meet in Paris, Miami. It's pretty sexy."

3. Claire Danes and Hugh Dancy: Actress Claire Danes and hubby Hugh Dancy have been at it since 2007. She’s been filming the TV hit Homeland in North Carolina while he’s in NYC working on stage. They like to keep it real, though. She’s been quoted by Young Hollywood, "We talk a lot, we text a lot, we send each other photos of our toes - dumb stuff. I think it's dangerous when you go into reporting mode, when you just kind of list the things you've done that day. Sometimes you just kind of have to act as if you were with each other and not say anything terribly significant."

4. George Clooney and Amal Clooney: The Oscar winner and the human rights legal activist make their marriage work long-distance by staying connected even though miles apart. George told USWeekly (in a now contested interview), "We have a rule whereby we are never apart for more than a week. We also stay in touch via social media, so we try to keep close even if we're in different parts of the world."

5. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle: Prince Harry and actress Meghan Markle make it work by spending as much time together as possible and making numerous transatlantic trips. The couple looks like they’re taking the relationship very serious with Prince Harry even coming out to her rescue when naysayers attacked the American actress and her family with “racial undertones” in press coverage and on in social media.
