Flex-N-Feel: Touch and Get Touched

Admittedly, the hardest part of long distance relationships is the lack of touch from your SO - or to your SO. Anyone who says otherwise is a fucking liar.

FaceTime, Skype and even Snapchat have facilitated some of the ultimate necessities (like seeing his stupid face when his favorite team wins the Super Bowl, or when they lose), but nothing has come close to the comfort a warm body gives.

That's where Flex-N-Feel comes in. Just wear a silly glove and bam, he's holding your hand.

Simon Fraser University has created Flex-N-Feel, a pair of gloves aiming to help bring together people with distance woes. It consists of two gloves, a dominant (not related to 50 shades, guys), and a receptor (a sub, if you will...hehe). With the help of the dominant glove (the flex), you can send touching sensations to your loved one, while the receptor glove (the feel), receives them.

So, how does it work? The partner wearing the dominant glove moves which activates vibrators in the receiver glove. The partner wearing the receiver glove will then feel vibrations that mimic the movements.

It's all good and fine with the hand holding, but what about the naughty stuff?

Placing the glove on erogenous regions will do the trick - for now. Carman Neustaedter, an associate professor in the School of Interactive Arts at SFU, says intimate touch was not the focus of the Flex-N-Feel team, though it is flexible enough for it. Still, the long distance world is patiently - or impatiently - waiting for the next cool gadget to make it all easier.
