iTunes F*cked with My Movie Night

Okay, so I'm still in Vegas and Boo Boo is still in Montana. It sucks. As hell.

So what do we do? Like any normal long distance couple, we want to spend some time together even through FaceTime since we can't get down and dirty in person, duh. And watching a movie (a new and scary movie he nor I can watch alone), is the perfect escape.

He's watching the same thing I am, and the thought makes us feel closer. We even counted down to press play. I microwaved some popcorn, cozied up in my blanket, and strategically placed my phone in the best position to both see the movie on my laptop and my boo across the small screen.

The Conjuring 2 had some promising jump-out-of-your-seat moments in which it was all I could do not to laugh at my manly man getting creeped out. It had some fun, scary as hell moments - and then my movie stopped.

I mean, it just stopped. Nothing but a black screen, then after a while all I got was a black screen and audio that was no longer synched with my boo. I even tried MiniPlayer. I was that desperate.

And my long distance movie night was ruined.

Doing a quick search told me I'm not the only one iTunes has fucked with. There were multiple threads addressing the little terrible problem.

Though I tied, I couldn't get the movie back up and playing.

Instead, I just watched my boo on FaceTime getting scared while he tried to tell me what was going on even though I could hear the movie.

**He's the freaking best!**

I emailed iTunes support but have yet to hear back from them. iTunes was quick to tell me my 24-hour period of the rental was over with, however. Stupid iTunes.

I'm pissed I spent $5 on a stupid rental that I didn't even watch, but I'm happy I got to spend that time with my boo. I won't be renting another movie though them, and I won't be happy to wait for redox with new releases either, but sometimes a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do.

Hopefully your movie nights turn out better than mine.
